Bio
A long-time interest in natural health led Avery into Traditional Oriental Medicine. He graduated from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver and is a Registered TCM Practitioner (Acupuncturist & Herbalist) licensed by the government through the College of TCM Practitioners & Acupuncturists of British Columbia. In addition, he also serves as a board member of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of BC and is a Professional Member of the Health Action Network Society. Avery's prior education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering from the University of British Columbia.With a focus on Traditional Japanese acupuncture, moxibustion, and shiatsu massage, Avery continues ongoing training to further develop and refine his skills. He has been involved in martial arts for over 10 years and trains in several Japanese traditions including Hakko Denshin Ryu and its related healing art of KoKoDo Shiatsu Igaku.
